If Team A forfeits in this manner (early notice), will Team B still be required to field 8 people during the officially scheduled time?
It makes scheduling rather difficult if teams still have to show up for a forfeited match.

It makes scheduling rather difficult if teams still have to show up for a forfeited match.
For example, WE the CrazyBeavers rescheduled our first match against the Greyguards as both team wont have been able to field 8 players at the officialy assigned date to give our opponents the chance to show up later with 8 players for not having to forfeight too ...

Yesterday was no official match day. Refs have a life to and only need to be there for the official matches.
Forceits for rescheduled matches are a thing between both teams only. No Ref.

According to the Team Withdrawels and Disqualifications post in the FAQ after 3 no show strikes you are out.

Yes, but though talking with other team leads we have found a team that have 5, yet is still in the Tourney and a team that has zero, did not post a resign, and is out of the tourney.

we had to forefit one game so far (our opponent refused to reschedule), and the ref said he THINKS it does not count as no show because both teams had a representative there talking with him ...but I still would like to know for sure if and how many no shows are marked down for our team
in worst case I think the team captains (better ALL team members, because the captain is not necceessairily always available) should get an email (to the adress they registered with) about each scored no show (including a total number of no shows given)
