Sending a shoutout to PGI tech support again - specifically Mr. Jubraj.

Was unable to light off the client after downloading and was getting pretty frustrated. Once I entered a trouble ticket with PGI I got fast, courteous, and helpful emails from Mr. Jubraj that got me back up and running again.

Well done PGI, appreciate the great service!

Seconded. Bobby Jubraj has been great whenever I've needed to contact support.

I am missing all buildings and ramps on all of my maps. In place of them I have "marker balls" where the structures should be.
I have tried running the repair tool and finally re-downloaded and installed the tournament client but the problem persists. Even Mechwarrior Academny has no buildings. I have never had this issue with the production client.
I have not participated in a match yet as it would be unfair.
Please let me know if there is any way to correct this.

Ebon,

You will probably get a quicker response by emailing support@mwomercs.com, and include "Issue with Tournament Client" as part of the subject. Attach the output of dxdiags, as they might ask for that. You may also want to check the rules to see if there is a Tournament-specific support email address.

Also, if you haven't updated to the latest graphics drivers for your GPU, you should try that first. It's the first question I'm asked by support whenever I have graphics or physics oddities.

edit: Added driver update suggestion.
edit 2: dxdiags output.

On the other hand, I'd love to see that screenshot.

Support ticket was submitted Saturday night. I got the auto-reply for more info but so far no answer.
I did find a post on Reddit from 2 years ago someone who had the same issue. The ground renders, but no buildings, structures, trees, bridges... nothing but the base scenery.
First is one of the tall Antennas on Canyon Network near the center.

This one is SUPPOSED to be the railway bridge over the canyon.

The strange thing is my regular client has never had this issue and still does not.

It has been a week now with no word from Tech Support. I am now on the far side of two additional client un-install / reinstall cycles, a full scan of the registry for orphaned tournament entries, some experimental swapping of PAK files between my working client and tournament client, a half dozen repair client attempts, and even borrowing a known working Canyon Network PAK file, un-install, reinstall and... I still have the exact same problem I started with.
No rocks, trees, bridges, buildings, or add on hills, just small round balls where the scenery should be.

Fixing!!!

Fixing mismatched files.
-Fixed!
Cleaning unneeded files.
-Cleaned!
Cleaning FE textures.
-Cleaned!
Cleaning shaders.
-Cleaned!
Done!

... and the problem still exists.
