The makers are not under any obligation to let anyone play. In addition not only are they not under any obligation... at this time it is a physical impossiablity that everyone registered on this site could play the game due to the hardware constraints in place right now. So there will be those that will not get in to Beta testing period (demand is higher than open places). The reason Aug 7th is set is because they hope to have the hardware limitations removed and tested by that time. Also, they do not have to be fair (not sure where this idea of life being fair came from) but that being said they seem to be making the selection as fair as possiable. Just because we are on the outside looking in doesn't mean they are being unfair.

but Aug 7th is for founders only everyone else is later so your only half right on everyone gets in

even a poorly retired pensioner like myself can find the $30 over the course of the announcement to now to become a veteran. i just hope in the next 2 weeks i can squeeze my budget for another $30 to become a elite founder for that lovely Catapult i so dearly want.

you dont' even need to constantly pay once your prm account runs out, for me $30 is well worth the early start time of August 7th rather than wait till end of spetember , plus i get 1 month of prem account and $40 worth of C-bills ot start my mech bay off with, so save up a few bucks and i assume you can do this if you have a pc good enough to run a game like this or just take your lumps like a man and not be such a whiney fed rat
