It is a classic. Unless it gets godly quirks, it seems many of the fun things it can do would be limited to the ECM variant.

IS, 45T, JJ, ECM. Kind of fills... A... Hmm..

It seems limited in what it will accomplish without knowing quirks.

Ordered the collectors, expect it to perform as well as the vindi but faster. tbf expecting either similar weapon loadouts to the bj then vindi or less big guns/more laser Spam due to larger engine limit, but i have a plan for a gauss slinger :D

A high engine cap, 2 ECM variants, and a MASC variant will keep the chassis interesting, but it will defiantly be tough to justify the 45 ton package within the current game.

But then again, long term it might be better. Russ just said on twitter they cleared the technical hurdles in that big energy draw thing they where working on, which seems like it would directly benefit the lighter chassis'

As others said though. Too much is dependent on quirks on the IS side to get interested until you see what those will be.

I look forward to there being no hype train. There will be a lot of threads on the forum about how this mech sucks because it doesn't have enough hardpoints. And it will make it more enjoyable for me, being one of the few people who like it. I don't really enjoy being one of six guys on the same team, all piloting the same mech.

I honestly don't care if it is vindicator bad, it looks cool and I'm sure I will do fine in it (double, double guns are bloody awesome!). I have noticed the people that begged and begged for it have now gone quiet (perhaps I have just noticed their hype).

The bicycle helmet cockpit killed any possibility of hype.

What a hideous looking mech, equally as ugly as the Blackjack and Griffin.

I'm curious, not sure if "looking forward to" or not, though. But always curious for more info. Just wish they'd either freshen up the Countdown format, or better yet, condense it into about 3 days. Because a lot of the stuff realyl is the fluffiest of filler.

Day 3:
Screenshots
Scale Info
Badges/Titles
Day 2:
Quirks
Release Build info to Smurfy so people can start theory crafting
Day 1
Intro Video like mechs USED to get.

done.

Yo know, simple, to the point but more interesting.

That's motorcycle helmet yo.

Safety first man. But the Hero version better come with a custom Ducati Monster to rip around the map on. Especially when I go all John Woo and whip out my double pistols to gat fools.

Little known fact: The Phoenix Hawk's helmet is modeled after the one Russ wears when his father takes him for ice cream.

I am looking forward to using streakboats and shotguns/splats. 45 tons falls within the sweet spot of the "anti-light" weapons still working effectively, whilst also being easier to aim at.

In all honesty, it will be a nice change of pace to see a bunch of mediums running around.
