still dont understand why teams (pug and group queue alike) are going for
base rush right from the start of an assault match.
Imo it woud make way more sense to defend for the first 5 minutes
of the match at a minimum.
Maximal advancing to the middle of the map to beeing able
to fall back and defend the base if needed
(sidenote: you lose when your base getting capped by enemy team).
Its kinda unlogical and a pure gamble to throw all
your team has to offer in mechs at the enemy base beeing in return unable to stop
the enemy team capping.Instead some guys of both teams (mostly 2-3) returning from
the other base back to their own, which is pointless anyway in 80%.
It´s like most players are somehow not beeing able
to act patient in any way (nascaring, base rush). As if they have
only 5 mins left in their lives.
So come down, easy now, think twice and do it different next assault match maybie :D

Sometimes tapping the base is enough to distract an enemy force and split them up. Divide and conquer. Doesn't always work.

Personally, I dislike the NASCAR approach, and if I'm playing a light I'd rather then

There shouldn't be a tactic that works 100% of the time. If everyone plays by your formula, then nothing will happen the first 5 minutes as the teams will be "defending" the base. Mixing it up is what makes it fun.
