Are you delusional

Thanks for your contribution.

An NKVA that talks about delusion...
Haven't you forgot an "X" in your name?

Now the next small child of Kerensky... (and there are many, I must warm up).

I've never heard of you or your unit.

We don't usually post on the forums and are a bunch of "so so players".

You are correct.

But I've heard you NKVA talk.
And I've heard others talking of you and your attitude.

It looks like they were correct.

See? You all are right and I was wrong.

Now another Kerensky, please.

Minigame is a good idea, give me something to do while I am waiting for a FP drop.

Makes perfect sense. Since your core game mode, a pillar the game was sold and supposed to be built around, is so bad no one plays it that the queue times are unbearably long please create a game mode I can play while I wait.

Eregion (and anyone else who says things are fine in re population),

The sky may not be falling, but it sure looks like its getting closer to the ground.

I've only been playing around a year and a half. I play fairly regularly, daily from 8:00PM to about 10:00PM Central time and occasionally a bit earlier than that if RL allows it. When I play, I play with my unit mates and others in the FRR TS channel.
Before P3 it was fairly common to see between 4-6 ~12 mans running on a week night with more on the weekends. Since P3 there is usually 1, and occasionally 2...and once, just once I saw 3 going. The point is, and yes this is purely anecdotal, but on what is often cited as being one of the largest, most active communities in the game, there has been a clear decline of player participation. One could, I suppose, assert that there are thousands playing when I am not on, but I often check in through out the day, and as an insomniac I often do so throughout the night as well. Regardless of time frame, the observation is the same: There just aint a whole lot of people playing anymore.

Not sure what you are experiencing, but I for one am worried. I hope Russ will have some uplifting and really good news to share tonight, so that all of us irrational cynics 'get religion' and testify to the good word that the reverend Russ preaches.
Alas, what I am expecting is more of what we are all used to by now: an insult, and yes the ever present townhall feature of: "do ya wanna buy a mech pack?"

What evidence can you point at to suggest otherwise?

I love mech packs. I love democracy.

I don't understand why you present this as a bad thing.

Now, I like the way you pose the reasoning.
I'm not a preacher of the Temple of Russ. Even I am worried.

But we are going through a particular moment with the Championship, no weekly challenges (this is the first one in more than a month), the summer time, the FP Phase 3 burnout, promises made in december still unfulfilled (decals), monthly patches almost void of big changes, etc...

The WC is very interesting: it involves 1721 players. That number alone represent more than the "The sky is falling" crowd is willing to admit is the player base right now. We can safely assume now that those 1721 people are among the most dedicated players of MWO. The WC is challenging even the most organized teams (between scheduling time, practices and matches).

I really don't know how much this can affect the actual perception/fact of low player presence.

Since Organized Units are among the retaining factors of the player base, how much an absent (or challenged) active body in each unit can retain/organize that portion of the same unit that is not involved in the WC?

I visited the Mechwarrior Online steam page recently to see what steam users thought about the game in leaving reviews. I found that the reviews were mostly positive with people talking about how MWO was a really good and fun game with a steep learning curve. I'm not certain that the level of salt we see on these forums extends to the silent majority.

Stay classy.

Well said Myc, this is exactly the reason I did not buy the supporter pack. Knowing half of my money would go to people with this type of attitude.
Remember I said this would happen before the "tournament" started.

tee hee I win our bet, but don't but me a mech pack, get me some fallout 4 dlc.

Mmmmmmm..... yes

C**t-cellent!

It's a sad day when NKVA gives up on ridiculing a guy.
