Like it is now, it's like we wear a helmet (do we? I don't even know) so it looks like NV and HV is done on the helmet and the complete screen is affected.

I'd like if the effect was applied to the cockpit's windows so the nice looking interior would still look normal when using any vision mode. Applying the effect on total screen ruin the pretty cockpit colors with all the items in it like warhorns, hanging and such.

Also as it is now it's like 5 years ago it was the quickest and easiest way of doing it, just a filter applied over entire screen. It's time to improve!
