That does bring up a point on cooling. If SHS in the legs were supposed to cool better if standing in water, shouldn't that count for the entire locust if submerged? Lol.
It should.... but since when has PGIs coding actually done that?

But it would be nice to have areas where other mechs could fully submerge. Used to be a fun tactic to submerge and shutdown only to jump out on the enemies flanks "bitd" in TT.

Going to kind of suck having to master them all over again but I really wanted it over here especially after the re-size.

20 ton Mech. Very light weight. If I had to guess, since I don't own a Locust... there isn't enough room for Quad MGs + Ammo and a MLas with the larger engine that was swapped in.

I had mostly played Clan Scum mechs but my real life friends play IS mechs. Can't put together a nice drop deck to play with them as I only had the Banshee and Locust for IS.
Also most my unlocked weapon modules were clan so may as well only invest in IS ones on a separate account.
It also kind of sucked when somebody in my Merc Unit took out a IS contract. Didn't like seeing a IS tag on my Clan Mechs any more than they liked me sticking them with Clan tags on their IS mechs.
Both of my friends sold their clan mechs and have also created new Clan accounts.
Hope that makes sense?

Some do it for Lore reasons. (and take it seriously to the point of having support remove the Loyalty mechs from the other side).
Some do it so they can switch back and forth from Clan to IS in CW without penalty.
I even brought this up in a Town Hall early on because of the CW flipping (some of us keep everything in one account and are penalized by it), and was told it wasn't an issue. Part of the reason I stopped playing CW.

No different than playing DAoC back in the day...
When one realm was winning the war, everyone logged onto their other accounts to join the winning side so they didn't have to suffer the 15-ish minute wait time penalty before logging in.

My Locust 1V has an XL190, 4 MGs, a medium laser and 6000 rounds of ammunition. So it most certainly fits.
