Oh Hai interweb!

I'm modeling this here Annihilator for my own amusement and I wanted to share it with you guys. This is pretty early in the making, so I'll keep updating this thread as I make progress. I've always had a thing for Annihilators and when I saw a sketch of it by an acquaintance, I just had to turn it in to polygons. So here it is. Lookit!

I know the render isn't of the best quality, but it'll do for now. I just wanted to get something out without too much of a hassle.

When I'm done with the model, I'll be using it to render a few of my usual BTech images. Already have quite a few ideas about what I want to do with it...

Just a question regarding the thread title... were you pregnant or was the Annihalator the one who birthed a Locust? its not too clear, as the Mech looks like it may have had a little surgical improvements on a few stretch marks around the belly area from an AStech :P .

it deos look like an interresting mech, however the head looks like it is far too high up in regards to the rest of the mech. Nice for scouting over hills... but less so for being able to shoot at what you are seeing on screen from the cockpit view.

Preggo Annihilator of course... Posted Image

View problems are not really a concern. However, the pilot has a direct view of the ground until about 20m in front of the feet. I'd say that's good enough. Take it as a flaw of the design.

Your Annihilator looks like Godzilla. Is it a reference to the "Gausszilla" variant? Good model by the way. All we need is a Godzilla warhorn and this mech is set.

That is a well realized model-its a bit out of the box, which is great! I would like to see the sketch you worked from too. Look forward to seeing how this ends up.

Nice take on this one! Annihilator is one of my favorites from MW3.... Brings back some good memories! Love the primary loadout, too! Can't beat the brawling power of 4 LBX-10s!! It's like if Godzilla had a shotgun......Posted Image

it it doesn't have the belly, it's not an annihilator.

Sure it is. Momma can't be carrying that urban mech around forever. Posted Image

Can we get eye lashes on that for a smooth-skinned curvy female godzilla??

Sorry I joke, just couldn't help myself. Not quite the way I envision annihilator, but it does look like a cool mech.

Edit I tried to resist and even erase this but again too weak, my bad. Posted Image

Hey y'all! I'm pretty much done with the geometry, might do a few tweaks here and there but that's it. I'm generally quite pleased with the mech. O0

In case anyone cares, the base model is a tad under 740000 quads.

Now I'm on to doing some rigging and material work in 3DS Max before rendering some hardcore mech porn. A preview with some initial material testing:

still like this although it has more of a Tank Girl, Mad Max with Mechs aesthetic than MW. Still awesome work.

I could see a ANH franken mech on Astrokazy looking like this.

Much bigger version for your viewing pleasure here.

I usually just let the result speak for itself, but there is a bit more info behind the link if you care enough. Next on the to do list is some renderings using this beast of mech.
