I am going to laugh my butt off at everyone who sells their modules prior to PGI fixing the map, and then coming to the forums and whining about how they were duped into selling their modules.

I predict that the good players will learn to use the new minimap and the tactical overview it provides, while the bad players will run around with full cockpit zoom (as they currently do) and full map zoom, effectivly blinding themselves compared to non zooming players. And then they will constantly die/loose and cry even more than the theorycrafters complaining now.

Self anointed good player are you? Patting yourself on the back with a tier 3 ranking?

People such as yourself who don't even look over the patch notes can stay in the dark until it goes live, yes. Those of us with comprehension skills already know.

Meh.

Think and feel what ever you wish. Your **superior** comprehension skills still are not going to prevent it from being a reality.

Unless you are going to be one of the ones that refuses to play the game and rage quit over an update that you don't like. In that case I guess you won't be playing it and seeing how it goes.

BTW. Thank you for assuming I didn't look at the patch notes. Seems you are becoming quite a troll in your 28+ posts. I'll put my feed bag away now.

Not totally wrong but IMO UAVs are more a true wallhack, sismic dont allow you to see what mech is there, what componants is cored or his loadout ^^
Me i never use UAVs coze i considere it like "too easy mode, cheat, hax" i am pretty sure in same way you never use sismic sensor xD

Well it's no wonder "Information Warfare" is virtually non-existent. The player base does not want it. We might as well get rid of radar and all other sensors and just force the player base to use their eyeballs. Posted Image

Useless maybe.

If so good, it should never have been a thing, people crying over a sanctioned wall hack not working, shame

Not superior. Just fundamental.

I will grant that the writing on the wall isn't just from the patch notes. I has also been widely discussed during and after the town hall.

In other words, the mini map is indeed locked fully zoomed out and has been confirmed. Not believing such until after experiencing it first hand in game for oneself tomorrow is one's own prerogative.

to be fair, i want some sort of exp or c-bill for the damage LRM boats do while they dont have any visual themself and not just that tiny bit they call *spotting assist*
it should count into your own stats to be THE spotter for them ;) then we got some rewards coming :P

Oh. Perhaps I see the confusion.

I fully know the new mini map is fully zoomed out and locked into that zoom level. I know this because I read the patch notes as well as listened to most of the town hall.

I was implying that, in the future, it may not be that bad if there was a zoom level toggle added to it. I was also implying that starting tomorrow we will not have any option other than to play the game with the new minimap and see how it goes.

I guess I need to work on lowering raising my comprehension to your level.

Regards

Your writing skills are Tier 1.

May I have a 'like' for that?

Sure. You can now see exactly where this "command wheeling for help guy" is dying. :D

nothing else needed.
oh and yes, good map locationing for the team to respond quick enough.

Thanxs you gave me a little giggle there and my mood was a bit down.

It seems to me that whenever I'm not the scout we have no scout. Also whenever I bring a NARC there are no LRMs and other Murphy's Law like results from the match maker.

Overall I think this new mini map is being rushed in half baked. And that is clearly a result of wanting to rush in the command wheel feature that the map was altered to support.

So now I find myself wondering will the command wheel even get used enough to merit the changes? Between the general lack of communication on a typical PUG team and the existance of the VOIP why exactally are we getting a command wheel?

The command wheel does exactaly one thing better than actual VOIP (handles language barriers) and that is situational at best. I recently turned off the Euro and Oceanic servers and exclusivley play North America now ( poor ping on Oceanic and poor match quality for Euro) So in my case I am getting a half baked under developed minimap feature to support another feature I will never need.
