got windows 7 pro installed. currently running prime95 with a max temp of 51.5 C. will run for another 10 minutes then move onto Furmark

ran furmark for 10 minutes, FPS around 30

ran heaven dx11 at 1440x900 with extreme tessillation, shaders and whatever else the default is. ran around 30 FPS. dropped the tessillation to normal and got 40-50 FPS. the prime95 peaked at 51.5C.

Q8200 Core 2 Quad 2.33ghz 4MB L2
8GB DDR2 800mhz RAM
Radeon HD5670 <--- Upgrading to MSI HD 7770, video card in mail
7200rpm 500GB HDD
42" Plasma TV via HDMI

Its an old Gateway system with a new low end mid-range card. Right now its getting 25-45fps in Crysis 2 at 1366x168 Very High DX11. I'm surprised it can do it that well on a card that uses purely PCI-e power with no 6pin. 7770 is at least double the performance of a 5670 with room to OC. Should get some higher resolutions with 45+fps.

The best part, the TV and computer were free. The computer had an absolutely idiotic cooling design and kept overheating (that's YOU gateway). Friend said I could have it if I could fix it. Challenge accepted. All in all I've spent $75 on it, 2 fans and a used 5670. A new card bought and the old one sold will mean I will have spent a whopping $150 on this setup. ;]
