so i received my account injection for winning the grand prize...

i cant find my XL400 engine anywhere ;/

Sometimes you need to restart the client for things to actually pop into the inventory.

Speaking of inventory, are you looking for the engine there? If so, my above comment applies.

If on the other hand you're searching for it through the mechlab then know that only engines up to the maximum rating a mech may take are actually displayed, and there aren't many mechs that can use the XL400. In fact, only when you start getting to the 80-tonners and upwards will you find mechs that may take it (and even then far from all)

Yep, check your Inventory. It's one of the buttons on the left side of the Home Screen.

Only 'mechs that can equip a 400XL (IS):
Victor Hero (Dragon Slayer)
Awesome Hero (Pretty Baby)
All BattleMasters
All Banshees

I don't expect to buy any of those anytime soon, and am trying to master the TBR, so I just sold mine :/

You forgot to mention the Atlas Hero (Boar's Head)

But that one comes with it's own XL400. (only IS mech that starts with an XL400)

But yeah, there are precious few mechs that can mount an XL400
