Hello there,

an own Dropship who delivered an ally just attacked my Battlemaster in a defending Invasion game from behind until my backside got red. Only a few players were still alive with their last drop, I had the Battlemaster running and a Vindicator left. I had idled at our Dropzone to shoot incoming and peaking enemies around corners.

This was the 2nd-worst match in my entire MWO life. Had the worst ever a match before!! Lost 12-47 and then something 16-47 (I had been the last man standing with the Vindicator running in both matches).

Gotta love all the blames I had got for the last match, but was 2nd best DMG-dealer and gathered 3rd-best Match Points.

Much like the long tom, the dropships don't really care what's in their way when they shoot an enemy.
I am pretty sure the dropship aimed at an enemy and you have been in the line of fire.

Basically, the dropship gunner was saying to you, WTF did you step in my line of fire and a few more choice words and not pull up on the lasers.

Was kinda thinking the same, tho, no enemies were around. Hmm.

Enemies were around. The dropship doesn't care about anything in its way, including terrain. An enemy outside of your spawn was in range so it fired.
