I admit I was a little anoyed the Dire didn't get quirks or speed un nerfed. But, it doesn't need any. I was amazed how well she holds up after the rescale. You can roll damage much better now, and it is not nearly as much of a sitting duck. Also, bringing the lights into their proper volume and size made them much less a threat to an assault. I wasn't paying attention one match and ran smack into 3 lights and an enforcer. They got me, but the enforcer, arctic cheetah, and a Jenner were smoking wrecks on the ground. I really think PGI got it right this time. 1 light mech should never have been more threat to an assault than another assault.

As a proud owner of 4 Dire Wolves, I have to admit... they could have made the Dire Wolf 50% bigger and I would happily have accepted it... just on account of them fixing the Boeing 747 nose.

Spoiler

But yeah, the ACH and LCT-1E will still cause havoc for slow assault mechs like the DW. As it should be.

I'm finding it much easier to core light mechs. I think that alot of light pilots are going to have to relearn how to use their mechs. And good assault pilots are going to have a field day with them. If you were an assault pilot that could aim and hit a light mech regularly before the rescale, it's going to be child's play now.
