Hi there. The only reason I haven't been complaining over Single XP Conversion is because I would have had to turn insatiably toxic in the past in order to get the point across. It's so low at that level that I'll never convert while it's down in that state. I'm only starting to properly complain about Double XP Conversion, because I'm barely noticing now, after having used it once previously, that it's still a hard ripoff. BTW, never say never on Triple XP Conversion. I'm not asking for Triple XP Round Rewards, because I do believe those can stay at Double. But I do want to at least attempt to talk some sense into PGI, and at least get them to allow Triple XP Conversion, because people need a chance to catch up with their unused XP, yet at a price point where they'll feel it's reasonable, and not feel like PGI is trying to just 'Cash Grab' and shake their hard-earned real $$$ out of them.

I get how you feel on the matter, so don't worry about the explosion too much. As for the nitpicking, you can trust me when I tell you that there are people of a far nastier temperament than I have, but aren't as constructive about their criticism as I'm willing to be. I'm probably one of the rare people you'll find who's trying to keep this game from dying, partly because I haven't been here all that long as of yet, but also because I would like to think that it's possible to give PGI feedback which they can use to do better in the future.

Like all events there is a delay between completion of a task and the registration of that on the event results and subsequent rewards being provided.

I see what you mean, I´m just saying it probably won´t get better than it is. Obviously I don´t have any numbers how many players use the Conversion, so well I don´t know if PGI has any reason to change anything.

You lucky stiff... Why are you complaining about your performance, when you're doing one hell of a lot better than me? I'm 6.5 hours in for battle time, at least 20 games (probably more, but I lost count) done, and I'm only 87.5% complete with just 10 KMDD to go. You must be one of those people who intentionally tanked their PSR in order to have fun on the lower Tiers. Geez... *facedesk*

Will admit I was too lazy to look if it was already posted, but there's a bug with the event. Says you need 30,000 XP to unlock the 1000 GXP reward, and that the requirement was doubled because it's double XP given out. Well I got the reward and only have 15,000 listed under Tournaments. Not sure which part is broken.

Heh, my xp conversions of 10K or therein aren't even acknowledged on the % graphic and my MC list has some irregular conversion numbers to begin with... le sigh. I'd contact support but I've been here in the past and I receive a pre-ordained reply: Working as intended or apologies, we are unable to offer assistance for "blank" issue.

Well I did actually drag my PSR to the sub-basement (zero bar visible of tier 5) merely having fun, and then I decided to game the PSR and largely just play assaults. So in the case of the 100 pulls of quick matches for the summer solstice event, that was 90 some quick games in the Kodiak 3 and Spirit Bear (oh and ONE match in my rippleback battlemaster) and ten in myst lynxes. I believe for the eight games for this event it was 5 times for the Kodiak 3 and 3 times for the Spirit Bear. It took eight games because I was only averaging about 440 match score per game. When your packing quad ultra-10s (with 4 SPL) or quad artemis SRM6 (with ultra-10 and 2 ERML), and improved artillery, and KMDD 3-6 mechs each game (even the ones I didn't killing blow... when you inflict 100 damage to the front of a mech, the guy who does the 10 pts to steal the "kill" doesn't actually get rewarded great for it during the event). A couple of the games I broke a thousand damage and one of them I got a half million c-bills with spirit bear. And I tend to dakka or lase anything running by, which means i'm getting assists on lots every game. I went from just starting Tier 4 bar to the bar being past the L in Pilot Info in those 8 games (one of which was a loss... it took six games to get the 5 wins).

I've been playing my hunchbacks this evening trying to score the first victory XP bonuses as I have six of them needing to unlock the master skills on, and one myst lynx to do that to also, so my PSR is slipping backwards a bit. My bar has slipped back to the I. Gonna have to get some wins and then go back to the assault pulverizing of people.

To give you a sense of what I do in my two favourite kodiaks... I've done 159 games in the Kodiak 3, 217 in Spirit bear and about 50-60 in each of all the other variants. I've won 88 times in the 3, 113 times in the SB, killed 175 folks in the 3 and 237 folks in the SB.

Thank you for the free stuff, PGI.

Personal challenge was bit short though. Was done in about 10 (originally counted two into the event when I was waiting for my rewards to materialize, so only 10) matches in my LCT-3M, in two I had bad luck, getting one-shotted very early on, others were pretty good where I had much luck, scoring in 500-range and racking up to 4 KMDDs. Took me about 2.5 hours.

Is my math wrong when I compute that 1,000,000 XP conversion equates to $80?! (250mc=$1) A mech bay for that price is absurd.
I just get the 100,000 and call it quits. Still overpriced for the c-bill prices after that, in my opinion.

Again, you're someone missing the point. The event isn't to force people to redeem $80 of MC to get c-bills and a mech bay. The event is to halve the cost of exchanging mech specific XP for General XP, and if you redeem a lot you get bonus rewards. And while the event goes on, they're also doubling the mech XP and general XP rewarded before percentage modifiers are added on, making it possible to up-skill mechs you already owned faster, or to master entirely new mechs quicker if there's something you've been waiting on buying, well now's your chance to speed the process along.
