I've gotta say, this mech is beyond silly with how generally worthless it is, but going 145 kph in spurts to deliver 24 points of SRM splat damage + 6 w/MPL in a 55 tonner is chuckle-inducing.

Can't get rid of it? Oh well, may as well have some fun with it!

Made a troll build myself, replace the ultra 5 with 2X AC/2s. Doesn't jam, longer rang and higher rate of fire... just doesn't do much damage.

Nice, that actually looks fun.

I've worked around the hardpoint limitations by putting a AC/10 in mine. It has excellent ballistic quirks, and backed by a pair of SRM/6's plus an ML, I've always felt the mech is ... OK. But truth be said it rarely leaves the hangar, as I prefer the variants which can mount a third SRM launcher (especially my WVR-7K with LPL + ML + 3xSRM6).

I've tried a lot of different builds until I finally settled for 2 AC5 + 2 SRM6. With the Quirks it's really not that bad. You can dakka away with the AC5s with the most part of your mech hidden behind cover, and you got 2 SRM6 as backup for brawling. I can recommend this.
