After having played a variety of variants the past few days, I can say I agree with much of what has been said. The Phoenix Hawk is a big target for 45 tonnes, and the weapons are easy to strip. Both points make the chassis' sweet spot between 280-450 metres from the battle lines. LRMs murder Phoenix Hawk's because the spread damage whittles down the thin armour easily enough the mech usually has to run a XL engine to have room for weapons, especially if they are not mastered yet. Brawler mechs also murder the Phoenix Hawk with DPS output and twice as much armour. I love the mechs but they are a tough ride sometimes with strict rules of survival. Many Phoenix Hawks will be sacrificed this weekend.

The PHX is definitely quirked too lightly. It needs heat disappation and major Arm structure. The machine gun rof really is pointless it could use generic ballistic buffs since it's not heavy enough to to boat anyway.

Ra + 18
Heat disappation + 20%
Ballistic Cooldown +15%
Remove mg rof
