So I have had a few instances where things have happened in games that seem extra ordinary.

One on a Terra Therma where an ACH one shot both me and then a Jenner with 6 x sml er lasers. From the front. Engine destroyed non cockpit shot.

Second was playing on Alpine peaks and was vs an other ACH. Now I had just used Alpha strike to destroy a spider with a back shot. ( 3x er med laser and 2 x Srm 6 art ) and rounded on the ACH which was facing a Butterbee. Now the ACH one sotted his leg out from the Butterbee and proceeded take THREE Alpha strikes in the back before he even moved and faced me. the Bee the placed two of his own alphas into its back before it killed me and then the Bee. I was in a Shadowcat. Now I want to know is there an invulnerability cheat as well and if so why is this allowed?

My friend whom I play with regularly Once had himself and two other assault mechs take 3 minutes to destroy a non moving griffon with alphas to its whole body. Now I suppose that could be explained as a Disconnection issue BUT the griffon actually started firing and destroyed one of the assaults before dying. 3 minutes sustained fie from three assaults........ Tell me. Are there cheats? how do I repot players for suspected cheating? Are players actually punished for this sort of behaviour?

I've heard there are some cheats, but I don't know that I have ever encountered players using them. PGI was supposed to ban a bunch of players, but didn't because they were whales.

Yes there are cheats, but they wouldn't lead to what you described.

The cheats assist aim and positioning. They don't cause additional damage. It's more likely you just got hit by another large alpha strike at the same time you were hit by the Light Mech.

No. Or at least, if there is, noone on the forums has ever been able to show it in a video or link etc.

It's more likely that due to ping your shots didn't land where you thought they did. Sometimes due to this games suboptimal hitreg shots just don't hit.

It's an Online Game. Yes there are cheats and hacks,

As for reporting: In the end of match Team Stats view click on the pilot's name there are several options for reporting.

As for the cases you stated: If both you and the player in question had high pings this could be simply a case of latency being too high for HSR to work correctly. As for the mech standing still, that could be a bug. I know we used to have a bug where HSR simply failed on shut down and disconnected mechs. Sometimes to the extend that even after powering back up HSR would be way off. This was noticable more with smaller mechs than larger ones. Don't know though if that bug is still there.

I don't know what hacks are out there, but I doubt that anything makes the server register extra damage.

just be glad you weren't playing in 2013 when all light mechs took 3 mechs to kill

the damage model on everything was as bad as it is on ach

There are cheats, however they wouldn't cause the issues that you are describing, as things such as player health and damage are all server side.
