That's the problem with nearly all hero mechs really. Aside from a few exceptionally good hero mechs like the Black Widow, Oxide, and Jester...most heroes are worse than some of the standard variants of the chassis. Mediocre or worse with a 30% c-bill boost isn't all that exciting.

You're better off just buying a Steam Pack when it's on sale, like it is now, and get some good standard variants like Thunderbolt 9SE, Timberwolf C, Hunchback 4P, Stormcrow Prime, etc with a c-bill boost slapped on it. Or buy some of the old bundles that come with c-bill variants.

It is a balancing act. One way you get people calling P2W. The other, you've got people saying "why waste the money?"

This idea is by no means original, but some sort of c-bill boost to stick onto existing mechs would help fill a niche.
