I knew that'd happen to someone. Hell there's some poor ******* who went through the 100 quick play bags AND the 100 preorder bonuses, and didn't get it.

Meanwhile I got it on the 4th pull.

I'm so pissed... took me like 10-11 hours to grind those 100 clicks and you know, I thought that out of 100 my chances were like 90% to get it.

To be blunt, boo hoo, I couldn't even play for this event that much, 6-12 draws is all.

It's a event for FREE. I know it's frustrating, but remember, it's free, you didn't have to pay anything to enter this event.

Just saying to let you know.

I know all this, I'm an adult even if I react like a child... in fact it cost time and I decided to invest many hours to have fun while being sure to grab the grand prize but it didn't happen.

**** replies like this boggle the mind, especially coming from a moderator. Sadly, I think this is also PGI's viewpoint.

A player INVESTS their time to play 100 matches of YOUR GAME to get a reward, and when they don't get it, it FEELS like time effectively wasted. Is it wasted? Debatable, but it certainly FEELS like a real waste of time. So they go to the forum and vent.

And what "official" reply do they get? "Boo hoo sucks for you now buy another mechpack and shut up". Such an attitude does not make for happy or loyal customers and players. I expect better from you of all people Derek.

What happens is the fact that this, this event, is free!

This was the FIRST loot-bag event with a grand prize where I actually got the grand prize. Took me 75 bonus grabs plus another 56 to get it...

Free is free - it's not as cool as a Timberwolf Champion, but I am happy I got it.

You think it was hiding in the other half of scouting? Who knows...

Problem is that even completing the event at 100% you're not 100% sure to get the GP. I think? But whatever, it's behind us now.
