Hope its a STD, in my opinion assaults and XLs don't mix outside a few niche examples like the Wubshee.

yeah I've been running that build since maulers came out. one of my fav mechs. First time I took it out I one shotted a locust with thright arm 3 LPL at about 400m - lucky shot but satisfying.

XL on a MAL??? You cray cray?

He face-tanks too much which means he's taking almost all his damage CT anyways (at least watching those selected clips, you can see it's always just his CT glowing without armor) Battlemasters/Victor/Zeus can handle running XL's as well. That mech must run HOT though, 5 Large Pulse Banshee's already run hot, but 6 on a Mauler must be scorching

face tanking then twisting is great way to keep XL mauler alive

6 L pulse is hot but i can alpha ONE TIME!! at 0% heat

iv one shot so many assaults from 500m away back CT not the front

i can one shot a medium from the front tho XD
