it's a bit strange that xCico and Hans Davion invite me in group.... and thier teams are both top EU ladder.
How's that?

That correlates perfectly with what I've told you the other day ...

As I play with top tier pilots, I can tell u they are uberbusy with scrimms and comp matches.
This sucks a lot....I had to start to play solo again, because I cannot find decent groups.

Ah I see now. So, you've had a certain group of actual skilled players who didn't mind carrying you all the time so you could farm up your T1, but now they are too busy with their own thing so you don't have someone to carry you anymore and started to drop back to T2 ...

Oh please, cry me a river ...

Now we know exactly who those actual skilled players were.

Proud @ No.8284. Keep it up.

As for this ...

... is exactly ...

...

Oh I will the next time we'll scrim against Cico and his team or Hans and his team. If you have such wicked skillz I wonder why you aren't on those teams in the first place. Must be too good.

And here is a great example of zero cohesion skillz ...

yea, also Monpax, ONeill and such must be so unskilled because of the comp team.... LOL

Are you aware that you are dropping EVERY ******* weekend for SIX ******* MONTHS in the EVERY ******* TIME in the same ******* map???

Are you having fun? LOLOL good for you then o/

I decided not to partecipate

Try harder troll.

The leaderboards are rather meaningless

Well there is this one thing. When somebody will make a forum rage post about how awesome he is and how bad his teams always are and what not we'll always be able to seach him in the leaderboard, see that he is somewhere on 30.000th position with an average matchscore of 120, then happy throw it in his face and make our usual gitgud comment.

I for example already searched and screenshotted all my forum favorites, especially those telling me to L2P in various buff LRM related threads.

My thoughts are:

-We should have Leaderboards only for solo play where players are closer in Tiers. Group play can be manipulated by organized groups. Also when in group, players from very different Tiers can play together making things quite blurry regarding results.
-Solo Leaderboards should be divided in 2 categories: First categorie: Tiers 1 and 2, second categorie Tiers 3-5.
-One month reset time, minimum number of matches required (somewhere around 40+)
-To my opinion, some kind of bonus should exist for good results on larger number of matches. A player with KDR 1 and 80 matches should rank higher than a player with KDR 1 and 40 matches. Not sure if such a formula can be devised, but it seems fair to me.

This reminds me of the guy who said he would place on all Warhammer leaderboards because he thought he had a good match and I had to break it to him that he wouldn't finish in the top 10 of any of them. He lacked perspective and understanding and his ideas were unsupported by data. And he held them until the end of the tournament when he was proven wrong.

People throw out the Tier 1 is more competitive all the time. Where is the data to support this assumption? Played against all tiers and seen the same bonehead play in all of them by all tiers of players. In the end tier is irrelevant, teamwork is everything.

In short tier means you have played more than most and is no reflection of skill or willingness to use teamwork. Or at least there is more evidence to support that assumption than the argument being made by l33t t1 players that it is harder on them.
I only say that because the evidence supports it.

I topped the boards on mechstats before it went offline. By a very large margin. With over 100 games played at the time.

Also I tracked all the games I uploaded to mechstats to support my claim. That claim Is that the lower tiers are full of potatoes compared to T1, and that good player can consistantly farm low tier players for very large scores, which cannot be easily replicated in T1.
