The time skipping isnt working on my end, it starts at 50 second.

It last 22 second, can be tweaked, see your mech in all its livery, everything is shacking, doors open, winds, rain, one way ticket drop to war. Cut to being in the cockpit on the ground and do the start up sequence or not, must be sync with the normal dropship animation.

It's beautiful, it's dramatic and exciting, this feels like a one way ticket to hell. This is the difference between a; behind enemy line para drop. and a normal air assault on the front. I see enough of my cockpit, lets see the mech.

Maybe make it a one time paid transaction since it falls in the "cosmetic" department.

That was pretty..

I wish PGI hadn't removed all the pretty things.. like LRM spirals and awesome explosions.

(..and no, adding 58 thousand trees to clutter up a map does not count as beautification.)

Whatever happened to the LRM spirals? They didn't seem to last long, did they?

I would support this wholeheartedly.

Not really keen on the drop sequence with the added effects. I like our in cockpit sequence, maybe some added detail to the inside of the bay?

As for 'pretty'? I miss the old visuals...
Especially the Atlas' glow. <3
And jumpjets that were actually usable.

They must have edited out the part in the video where the Atlas gets stuck on a small rock, and its feet hover over the terrain with a small (coming soon) beside its feet.

One thing i wish they would have added in was the mere ten seconds of animation from the teaser trailer of the hud elements being animated to bitching betty's start up sequence. Only ten seconds and it adds a new level of I want to play this instead of meh already there. From 0:38 to 0:48.

The Mini Map is almost useless unless maximized from all the dam foliage!

I support this as it will improve game immersion. That feeling when you drop from the dropship now lacks impact, that "THUD" you feel when a heavy object hits the ground. I think replacing it with this will make the mechs feel more mechy.

I'm fine with our current drop sequence, but they could spice it up to be more like that.

I'm not going to lie, I liked the LRM spirals too. It might not have added anything to the game but it sure looked much cooler than what we have now.

Any of you guys remember when they added the Bitching Betty power-up sequence, with both animation and monologue? That wasn't always in the game, but when they added it to MWO (in 2013, I think?) the whole community just went exploded with nostalgia and many pants were soiled that day.

But for some reason, PGI looked at the reaction from the players and said "Oh, look, they really like that immersion stuff. How weird. Let's keep that stuff to a minimum."

I weep every time I see this one. What we could have had, vs. what we have. It's just painful. What a waste of opportunity, this game could have had so much more.

And I miss the Atlas glowing eyes too. Talk about low hanging fruit, we can't even get that back.

I think we got the Kill feedback way after the booting sequence?

You're not the first to say this but to me that vid isnt negative in anyways. It actualy is one of the reason i came back to this game after 2 long breaks. Think of that sequence, watch it a few times and then i have to play MWO.

This also highlight how much more rich and immersive the game would be if we had a hangar where we can call mech when we chose them. Moving elevator and harness etc. Wall mounts(display) for our Deck or favorite mech. Be able to walk/scooter around our giant mech. Go up those mech and access the cockpit and customise it. All the small things that makes a game better.

That would be the downgrading

Whether it was for hitreg reasons, or Potato support, I don't know the specifics. But, easier to keep track of (mostly) linear and arc flight paths.

I believe the old glowy Atlas eyes were deleted, along with the smaller old maps, to make room for more space on PGI's servers (or something).
