HEY PGI!!! July is coming up PGI. Lots of us get an extra pay check in July, there's 5 Fridays... Think $$$. Sooo maybe you guys could announce a cool IIC pack for pre-order... Oh who am I even kidding, PGI doesn't read these forums

No this is not just another Urbanmech IIC thread. I'm talking a whole pack.

Anyways I did a search through the forums and couldn't find anything on more IIC mech announcements. As for clan mechs I think IIC mechs are extremely exciting and good for the game. I like MWO and want it to succeed, and PGI needs money to succeed (hey kid, wanna buy a mech pack?)

What I'm getting at is we should have more IIC mechs because Omni mechs aren't as fun for me.

What IIC mechs would you guys like to see?

What mechs I think should be included in another IIC pack:

---Light - Urbanmech IIC 30t

Pros- everyone loves urbanmech, great cash cow for pgi
Cons- only 2 variants listed on sarna (I don't know if this is a problem, or if PGI could just make something up)

---Medium- Griffon IIC 40t

Pros- Clans need another 40 ton medium (viper isn't going to cut it with only having something like 8 tons to play with).
Cons- I can't think of any

---Heavy- Rifleman IIC 65t

Pros- Heavy mech, everyone loves those
Cons- IS Rifleman just got released, someone may cry.

---Assault- Warhammer IIC 80t

Pros- Clans desperately need an 80 ton assault mech. Mr. Gargles is cool, but Mr Gargles can't do it all, he needs help.
Cons- Is it to soon after the IS Whammy gets released, someone may cry again.

I was looking last night and I think most all these other than Urby have 3 builds listed on sarna that have current game time weapons and such. I don't know how that works, is there elsewhere to look for variants?

They dont do mech packs anymore, they make more money selling single mechs.


So if these come out they would come out in 4 separate mech packs at $80 each.

Just change the Phoenix Hawk IIC for the Marauder IIC or Warhammer IIC, and it's a done deal... though I would prefer the Shadow Hawk IIC as the only medium in the pack... So maybe change the Gryphon IIC to a Locust IIC or Urbanmech IIC?

Ehhh, you do know the next Mech by end of June here most likely will be a Clan Heavy Omnimech. Anymore IIC's are probably going to not be announced for awhile, the next few mechs will be most likely IS mechs (hopefully forany a light package for the Stinger and Wasp).

Also no more larger mech packs(like the 4 packs), they take up to much time and effort Russ has said, only singles from now on

Technically you can just buy the $20 pack but you get access to maybe half the mechs. Honestly, the only people who prefer the new pricing are those who only played heavies and assaults.

They say its easier, im sure it is but its also more lucrative for them.


I'm no fool.....i had more buying power with packs and I knew it. There is a reason i have only bought ONE mech pack since the Resistance mechs.

There has never been an option to get more then one class of mechs for $20, so in essence you were buying ONE CHASSIS just like you are now, for $20 dollars. They just got rid of the buying power you had when you could buy a whole pack because reasons.


The only single mech pack i have bought to date was the Night Gyr because its my mech (and the PeaceDove but shes a sad whale wanna be) and i only spent $20 because i dont think the Hero's are worth it. %30 cbill increase doesn't warrant the price of 3/4's the whole package for me.


Maybe they are making more money from the Community as a whole but i have spent CONSIDERABLY less since the change.

I'll be glad if they add Marauder, Rifleman, Glass Spider, Locust, Commando, and Atlas II maybe Pheonix Hawk and Wolfhound or Thunderbolt IIC's should be good enough for the time being imo
