When they talked about doing the rescale, didn't they also mention they were gong to do a pass on the mech textures? Allowing us to change the Camo on special mechs, like the Invasion ones?

Though about that today when watching progress bars. Signed in tonight to see if I could change from the racing stripes on my TBR, and nada.

they are going to make them available 1 by 1... they said all special mechs should have camo by the end of the year.

Yup. Though I watched the anime before I started to play wows.
I like to those Japanese anime, they often make no sense at all, like strike witches etc., but they are "light at heart". I'm not into the serious 'guri' ones though.
On "ruining" wows: Was there anything to be ruined at all?

there are 4 clan (I) mechs that can be camo'd right now..at least mine could..they are the arctic cheetah...shadow-cat...EBJ...and executioner....ive had these 4 camo'd for months....i even sent in a ticket to PGI informing them i was able to do it...the reply i got was basicly ..dun worry bout it.

Historical immersion in wows is debatable. At least a quarter of the ships have never seen water under their keel. The tiers are and how a ship is tier xy is quite debatable. Balance is there only for games sake not for any realism.
But I hold it now. This is MWO. We should talk about that.

I think the only 2 mechs that got real remodeling done were the Catapult and Awesome. Almost everything else was globally rescaled, which not knowing much about these things, I assume means there were only minor or no changes that needed to be done to their camos. Going back to the Catapult and Awesome, they would both need camos redone for the entire line of mechs, so it makes sense to take care of camos for their heroes or special variants as well. I can now put any camo pattern on the Jester, but I can't check the Pretty Baby. So, I guess they're working on it, but I wouldn't think it's much of a priority. Now that the big rescale is finished, they may have more resources to put on it though.

Camos for wave III (I) mechs was part of the pack... you sent a ticket saying you can do what was part of the pack?

Camos for wave 1 and 2 (and any other special mech and heros) or being worked on atm.

Catapult hero Jester currently has full camo support (including faction patterns) FYI.

Nice. And yes. We never will see us, due to the server split. Another really stupid thing in wows. I have so many guys from the us and Canada to play mwo, some of them play wows too. Never will see them if I do not start a new account on the American server.
And i don't want to start anew, cos even getting to a tier 6 ship is quite some work.
