Thank you for confirming I was not just going insane To be honest. Consider how free-look inside the cockpit will work, and that looking at the readouts from the monitors and not just the HUD will give you extra info, TrackIR makes perfect sense.

Hey, sorry I can't remember now. There is no official statement, but their are comments from devs on the forums which make clear their desire to introduce support for a whole bunch of peripherals.

Actually, whenever I play Rise of Flight now without TrackIR I feel severely handicapped

You nailed it with that statement.
Rise of Flight has to be one of toughest FS out there also.
Sux not having more HP/Weight..lol.
WWII era and or Jets are more complex but easier to fly IMO.
