In my opinion, one of Alex best redesigns, the Orion (in addition to my archer Posted Image ). From ugly...

to beautiful.

Your opinion on Alex`s best redesigns so far (and i mean not the best mechs in game)?

Has got to be one of the recent and best transitions for round shaped mechs.

That was a good one too. I bet there'll be even better ones in the future.

Alex is a master at making these things recently, the art that is.

He always has been.

Only a few that are less that inspiring, IMO, and most started far far worse. Kintaro, Wolverine, Banshee and the arms of his Jager concept...are about the only abject MEHs in my book, off the top of my head...with the WVR being the biggest disappointment.

The Dragon concept and Highlander IIC I have disliked the most, moreover the HGN IIC.

That thing.

Is.

Ugly.

It's not Alex's fault, it just IS ugly in general. .-.

In terms of beautiful... I'll have to throw the Rifleman into the ring.

Silk purse from a sow's ear? That honor has to go to the Centurian IMHO... Concept on that thing was fugly.

I cant wait to see how he eventually does the griffin IIC, phoenix hawl IIC and the shadow hawk IIC.

Those are going to look epic!

The Metatinator. MWO's own Alex Iglesias has taken the Metatinator's concept art:

And transformed it into a ready-to-model MWO war machine!

Just leaving this here Posted Image

I think Alex hit it with most of the mechs. There are some ugly clan mechs but most of the robots looks awesome Posted Image

It's kind of goofy but... there's a kind of sense to the simple curves and flat plates in the old artwork since those shapes would probably be easier to armor. Of course we all know the real reason they were pretty simple was because it's really REALLY hard to get a lot of detail in a 2-3 inch model with 80s tech at a reasonable price.
