(disclaimer: this post is not meant to disparage any unit or faction)
So can we presume this weekend represents what FP would look like if we made it simply Clans vs IS?
So there is the obvious issue (which has always been one) you have all large units all focused up within the same faction and too few units to stand against them in invasion mode. Meanwhile, the Jade Falcon scouts are gorging on pugs trying to complete the challenge, which is resulting in the Falcons getting Long Toms within about 20 minutes (as if they even needed it)
Meanwhile, Bear, Wolf, and Jaguar are RARELY showing up to attack.
AND (here is my personal dog in the fight)
the southern IS houses cant attack clans (for event purposes) and we cant even ghost defend on a planet that has no grids taken.
So what is the take away? (prepare for the obvious again)
Player population is still too low, even for just purely IS vs. Clan, and there is still a lack of an effective mechanism to prevent large units from steam rolling pugs and everyone else.
