It wasnt so bad when it felt like fair teams but now i seem to drop in games where the twitch team all got pro aim and my team folds with little resistance. Well no more. I dont want to be streamed not just because of teams but also i think it makes my pc unstable and i can crash. Please take it elsewhere

If anything, the streamer is at a disadvantage because his/her PC is also encoding the stream and uploading it to twtich/youtube/whatever and the streamer his/her self is splitting their attention between the game and whatever audience interaction they are doing.

Quite simply put, if you can't fight against a streamer they are either really good or you are really bad... Or you have some kind of stage fright thing going on. I mean, seriously, I stream, and I'm not great. usually get killed as a direct result of my over-aggressiveness (combined lately with teams that seem to be afraid to do anything that resembles working towards a wincon, it's made things very frustrating).

Turn off All Chat and you will never know ur streamed. Heck I even turn off Team Chat cause of jerks. I listen to VOIP, but even then I sometimes mute. It's a very peaceful way to play.

I always try to target the streamer whenever I can. Its annoying to have some dweeb announce he is wasting bandwidth with something no one will watch.

I know right? There are surprisingly low amount of LRM whine threads lately. Perhaps the amount of newbies entering MWO is reducing.

Sometihng else comes to mind aswell. This is free advertising for PGI. I wouldnt mind if i got something for it... i mean i dotn even get asked permission. Now some of you will say "oh yes but free adverts for PGI = good" to u i say... 1000MC for a colour. If i spend my time doing sometihng for PGI least i should get someting for it.

That's not how it works. You are in a public game, any and all filming or even watching by developers behind the scenes happens. They have been known to watch players for cheats.

You being there, doesn't make people want to play the game more or less. It's the stream personality who makes people want to play. You will just be another target they light up.

Maybe you should think about looking at your internet connection. Instead of thinking you're being swindled of time, and that the magical faeries are making you disconnect because a streamer is on. When you have problems it's usually best to try and look inward. Not trying to insult. Just the truth.

If you don't want to be seen playing a giant robot game than I might suggest you find one to play that isn't multiplayer online. Also, mayhaps you should read your EULA and TOS.

EDIT: And while we're on the subject, this is also one of the most patently absurd ideas I've ever seen. By this same logic, anyone that plays basketball in the street should get a check from the NBA. Driving a car means you should get a check from the manufacturer. This is the same kind of douchebaggery that inspires people to expect graphic designers to do work for free because it's "free advertising" for them.

This is the most laughably pathetic excuse for anything I've ever seen, holy ****.

Next time I see you in game I'm going to put https://www.twitch.tv/pjwned in chat just to see how much it triggers you.

Coming from someone who proudly bears the title "The One Percent" on their forum account this is laughable.

Stream all you want. From now on I'll stream with online all the time, I'll stream with online and I won't even tell you or tell my mother to whom I tell everything. I'm a bad guy, but I'll stream with online.

Anything to get this game some notoriety has a positive effect on this community. Stop being so xenophobic and weird. You are weird.

If it helps, barely anyone actually watches MWO streams and they certainly aren't watching to see a random PUG guy named Burke get demolished. So, you're definitely taking this too personal.

As for the rights to stream and record your games that's likely covered in the EULA and ToS no one reads.

As for me, when someone is streaming I do hope I have a solid performance for my own personal pride, but when it doesn't happen I'm hardly crushed emotionally. I'm fairly confident EVERYONE has had their butt handed to them in this game a number of times.

I thought maybe you were trolling. Then I thought you perhaps honestly did not know how the internet worked. But now that it's been explained why someone twitching won't impact your PC's performance, and then this follow-up comment, I know you're probably borderline mentally challenged.

I will twitch stream you anytime I see from now on. Thanks for the heads up.

Its strange, but as most of the twitchers run in group play, as soon as my team sees "you're on Twitch", it often results in a 12:2 stomping of the twitcher...

So there is another excuse to add to the bin. That will fit nicely between "IS/Clans OP" and "Aimbots"
