i was thinking on how to make FW a Better Experience,
adding Immersion as well as the Feeling that your Fighting for a Planet,


what i came up with was, DropIn/DropOut & Reinforcement Tonnage,


=First lets cover the Reinforcement Tonnage=
Instead of having 4Spawns(your Drop Deck) your Spawns are now based on Tonnage,
think of this System as the Re-spawn Ticket System from Battlefield, of similar too,
-
Each team starts off with a Set Tonnage(lets say 5000)
Every time a Player is killed they may Choose Any of their 4 Mechs,
this Choice removes Available Tonnage from the Team Reinforcement Tonnage Pool,
the game continues till all the Reinforcement Tonnage on a side is lost,
or until Match Time is Reached(currently 30min, could be set to 60min)


=now onto DropIn / DropOut=
250(Max Drop Deck Tonnage) multiplied by 12 is, 3000Tonnage,
so where does the extra 2000Tonnage come in? the DropIn / DropOut system,

unlike how it is now, when a player is finished with their 4 mechs they may DropOut,
leaving the FW Match and gaining their rewards for Participating in said FW Match,
this is where another Player/Players may DropIn to the FW Match in Progress,
Changing up the Dynamic, and allowing 1-4man teams better access to FW,

this is how i would like to see FW, a Galaxy at war, where Planets take Days to Capture,


as all things Suggested, PGI could always Tweak them for a better game Experience,
the Reinforcement Tonnage as well as the Time May be Tweaked to better the Mode,
such as a 10000Tonnage 2Hour Match with 1-6Mans Droping in&out as teams battle,

The concept is good, my concern is bad pugs dying fast and draining tonnage.

Won't work.

You've gotta deal with players coming and going in an already running game? Drop calls would be under way, fresh people not in sync with the plan etc. It would literally cause mayhem.


Or you stop the game to add people in, and that'll just drive people to insanity to have a 'pause' while others join.

To get this clarified:

Is this vote and this thread done because the developers asked a moderator to present THEIR ideas and get feedback from the community about it?

Or is this a personal suggestion from a moderator without being connected to the developer's future plans?

Just asking to know if it is worth to really dicuss this, or if it will have the same zero impact like the hunderts of threads about FP improvements suggested by regular community members.
