The idea for this Map would be centered around a Castle resembling those of the Dark Ages, however constructed in such a way that Mechs could move about. The sides of the map would feature various other sections of the fortification, and would serve as barriers to prevent Mechs from running off the map. No more "out of bounds" for this puppy.
High walls, places to shoot from, ramparts, bridges, over-under walkways, tunnels under portions of buildings so Mechs could pop up almost anywhere. Players would have to be on their toes at all times. It would be made to tailor to the brawler and sniper. Over head cover in several areas and tunnels would limit LRM's.
The map would be built upon three levels, with the two lowest levels within private courtyards or areas where the spawn points would be. Mechs would have to travel up ramps or through tunnels to get to the main section.
Construction: Stone such as castles crafted during the middle ages. Some passageways would allow only your smaller Mechs to go through giving light Mechs some advantage against their larger more heavily armed counterparts.
