HTAL all the way. I much prefer the accuracy of that display than that of a generic paper doll. I use HTAL exclusively in MW4 for both myself and my enemy's readout.

Do you guys think HTAL should be implemented in MW:O just like it was back in MW2 thru MW4?

Like I have stated before, i prefer HTAL over paperdoll cause of a more accurate readout.
A toggle to pick either one is fine for me since thats how it was in MW2 thru MW4.
And this is also helps people who are color blind too. So this is nothing but a win win for everyone.

HTAL on toggle. MW3 C1 vet here. Bars display equaled only way to lag shoot effectively/find the other guy's lag quickly. While there isn't "lag shooting" in the classic sense, personally I would use the bars if that option was available. However this is a low priority item as far as game development.. We can get it "later" Hopefully not "Madcat" later,,,

No idea if it has been suggested but instead of having the outline of the damaged part change color just have the paper doll part fill up like a bar with 0 full being no damage and 100 being blown off etc.. Best of both worlds in that you get the more accurate bar system within the paper doll system. I prefer the easy readability of the mech render layout but I prefer the statistical info of the "health" bars.

Just slap some %'s around the paper doll and it becomes more accurate.
Also, in MW3 you hit "D" and "Shift-D" to change damage readouts for you and the enemy from "paper doll"-"HTAL"-and "3D". No reason it can't be done now if it could be done before. I prefer the 3D damage display myself.

Well my idea is to keep it easy to distinguish and still provide fast damage info. If you have a bar filling up inside of an outline of a different color it's much easier to see it in your peripheral vision rather than try to read text while concentrating on something else.

+1 HTAL.
I'd also really like to see the paper doll display changed to resemble the mech being targeted, a la MW2 and MW4.

If it's in there, for those that like it, great. Personally, I could never figure out how, exactly, my systems knew exactly how much armor was on an enemy to start with, so I never used it. Paper doll outline made marginally more sense, so that's what I've always used.

i liked the crescent hawks inception version most.
basicly it mixes the two modes by displaying the HTAL in doll form...

It seems to me that just having it as an option would not be a problem, I always prefer the standard display only because I can quickly glance at it and now exactly where my enemy and I stand.

I would like the damage projected over the actual mech you are fighting. So I dont need to look away from it when fighting I can see his arm is glowing red and should be focused on or his head is blinking black and is nearly gone.
