An Enhancement Feature To The Faction Play Feature

One thing that would be a lot of fun for the Faction Play feature, would be for Clans and Inner Sphere to be able to legitimately choose where they are going to war. Not just against the faction, but also what planet.

During the War Planning stage, when a loyalist is choosing the faction they want to declare war/hostilities against, they select that faction. Then the options for planets that are available come up, and they choose the planet. This would lead to a need for the people who help to lead the invasions to actually communicate with each other, and for the planning to actually mean something.

Also it might be kind of a neat option while doing this, to start to give the planets a bit of a bonus. Currently with the MC rewards, that is great, but let’s start the options of actually doing Galaxy building. Planets have the options for factories to be built which would give bonuses to the clan/house that controls them.

So for instance lets say Steiner controls a planet. And they put a recruiting station on said planet. The Unit that controls that planet would see a 10% reduction in they cost to offer new members those contracts. Something like that. But it would be something like you need to hold the planet for at least 2 cycles or something, and the bonus is suspended as long as the planet is contested/under attack.

Just something fun like that.
