First off thanks for a really fun game. I play it all the time and really enjoy it. I also like the regular updates and the care you take for developing the game.
i would like one small tweak though. Our clan is looking to doing some events and one of them is a Bloodright trial. For the we need to do a Grand Melee. But the structure of the game right now doesn´t allow that. So I would suggest that you either open up the groups in private lobby so we can have a proper free for all or that you make it possible to target friendly's (and also don't stop the game until everyone but one is dead).
I hope that this is small features and that you can squeeze it in.

you need to do a workaround - they won't change the metrics (pity as it is) or provide a API
you need 2 players that are non-targetable overlooking the field and maybe and provide "target data" for "friendly"
considering you may have 36 candidates
you have to make 3 match

you have to make 3 match
- in the first game 18 fight each other
- in the second game 18 again
- in the third best of game 1 and game 2 (or the 9 last man standing)

Yeah we did identify that solution but it isn´t the preferred way to go. LRMS and streaks are out. And also of course you will immediately see half of the combatants. So it will be a make do and not the preferred way to go.

Even if "free" private lobbies were limited to 2v2 or 4v4 would be fine.
- It would be extremely valuable for helping friends and family to learn, train, and for unit events / contests and training.
My wife and I activated some premium time so she could learn to operate the mech in a non-stressful environment. She now plays QP with me regularly. Some free 2v2 would have been even more valuable.

Well the private lobby is up to 24 mechs (?). But you can get in there with fewer. We do our trials there and it works fine. it´s just the melee that doesn´t work properly.

The Free-For-All configuration will likely not be available until their version of Solaris is released.
