Cleared the entire scout challenge last weekend in about 3 hours of play using Griffin 2N & Sparky, Wolverine 7K, Hunchback 4P (party build), and Hunchback 4SP. All solid killers. All but the 4SP use XL engines and are 90+kph. All I can do at this point is agree with the excellent suggestions that have already been made. Keep practicing aim & torso twisting, use VOIP, group up, stay tight, watch each other's backs and dominate. Streakcrows are easy money bruh.


Oh yeah, I was that guy that lost the match Tarogato was talking about. I was literally 4 or 5 meters from the drop zone telling a story. Got side tracked. FML. At least the rest of the night went well. Had to make up for the embarrassment with the blood of clanners.

I'm quite more scared when i see the crows loaded with srms and/or lasers. Many times the problem is people trying to fight them with IS lights, mediums with bad builds or just not focusing fire. I guess because these players are not used to play scouting and will play the mode just for the event.

Get a 50-55 tonner, load it with srm/laser vomit, or ac20. Ask your team to do the same, stay together and focus targets.

Or, if your team wants to win by collecting intel, get fast ecm mechs, spread and avoid the skillcrows. Or lead them away from the extraction point. Playing this way is less rewarding in c-bills, but i find it very fun. And sometimes is the only choice if your team of lights decided they can outgun 4 skillcrows.

This is exactly my experience.

40-45 odd games now. Two games total of streaks. Every other game, any other mech/build you can think of all with PUGs.

So I can't see how the problem is as prevalent as people make it out to be. That said the sample space I am working in isn't massive and I know others PUG'ing it up are seeing no streaks either... It's got me stumped.
