Since it would seem that damage will remain king when calculating match scores, and ancillary things such as flanking, scouting, hit&run, etc., cannot be accurately quantified, I would suggest making the raw damage score be a number divided by tonnage.
The hope is that this would incentivize people playing lights, or at least light pilots not having to feel shafted for not doing 500+ damage per match because they opted to scout or harass.
