Only time it would be against rules is if you created it to circumvent a perma or temp ban.

However posting on the forums with more than 1 account is.
There's several reasons why posting with 2 accounts can cause conflicts.

In my experience, the only ones who complain about the rules tend to be the ones who childishly bend or break them "cuz individuality". So I'm genuinely curious what "childish" rules PGI has?
(PGI does a lot I disagree with, but this is news to me)

dooh... i did not know this. I tend to log in to this forum as whichever of my two accounts a have been playing at the time.
I switch back and forth every few months.
I know it does not make any sense but one account is almost all Heavy and the other almost all Assault mechs.
...better to find out late than not until your in trouble. ;-)
