Stats Are Still Inaccurate Even On Leaderboard

I have noticed for a long time that the sum of my wins and losses is less than my games played for many mechs. In browsing the Leaderboard I noticed this was true in those stats as well for myself and a couple of other players. I have only ever had maybe two or three draws and I have not had one since the Leaderboard came out, so something is causing the stats to be off. This is definitely impacting the win/loss ratio, but I have no way of knowing if it might be impacting other things like KDR and Avg Score also.

Does anyone have any insight into this or more 8nformation about what causes it?

Sometimes, stats aren't tracked. I don't know why,but you see this in all the stats.

For example, make a newbie account, and buy an hbk4g. Run it with an AC20 *always*.

Marvel at how the stats show you've used the ac20 in fewer matches/less time than the hbk4g.

They don't record the wrong information but they often fail to record at all.

There's a theory that some/most stats aren't saved if you disconnect from a match (even if dead) instead of waiting for the EOR screen.

That theory may be correct, I although F4'ed after I died last night in the final match I played and my LB stats did not have any discrepancies before last night.

So I guess that means if you have a crappy game you can juke your stats by not staying until the end...

I believe ties do not count towards either. I'm sure I had 1 tie this month and my stats confirm it ... 116W / 99L / 216 matches played.

Proper stat tracking is obviously not important enough.

Right now it just looks bad, but I am hoping there will be achievements and other rewards implemented around the LB. It definitely needs to be fixed so there is zero perception the system can be gamed when that happens or those titles will become the new Deathstar.

It's less about the system being gamed, rather that PGI has the pride in their work to actually not embarrass themselves in their "incomplete" implementation.

The thing is... when you add something in that becomes irrelevant ultimately or written off like FW (Phase 3), then the question you have to ask is.. why did PGI waste their time doing a half-arsed job?

Because they thought it was perfect as implemented since they know better than us what is good for the game.

Seriously though, when have they not done something half-assed? UI 2.0, FW, 3PV, chat, most mech releases, consumable headshots, ghost heat, information warfare... I could go on. If I worked there I would definitely be embarrassed at the state those things released in or in some cases are still in. Lots of glaring issues or just plain bad decisions make it to live. Granted, it is not reasonable to expect bug free patches, but at the same time you can make it look like you at least attempted QA.

I was keeping track of my games last night to try and see if disconnecting before the EOR screven causes this. Before last night my average match score was 350 and I had 43 wins + losses and 44 total games. I played three games, the first I scored over 400 and lived, second I died with about 500 dmg, 1 solo kill, and 3 assists then hit Alt+F4 on death. Third game I did about 400 damage and some assists but no kills before I died and left the match. Today my stats reflect all three of those games in my wins+losses and total games as well as my ava score, which went to 348 which was about what I expected.

So if the stats not getting tracked is related to leaving the match early then it is inconsistent.

According to the stats I've played 176 matches on Emerald Taiga for a total time of 18:57:20. Thing is, I've played only 2-3 matches of Community Warfare. In the first week of phase 1. Before Emerald Taiga was released I believe. And no match at all in Faction Warfare. I don't share my account if that needed to be pointed out.
