You think the Centy has it rough? Just look at the Black Jack. They did absolutely nothing to deserve the nerf they are gettting, yet they are still getting nerfed.

Weapon quirks need to die, plus the locust were way over quirked having 25 to 50% laser duration reduction. Certain mechs do need weapon quirks but they should never exceed past 10% imo, and that is only because battle-tech and mech designs are not equal and certain mechs need a slight buff. But until we can totally phase out weapon quirks and just use structure quirks (and certain mechs with MINOR weapon quirks) we will probably never see a true balance pass on the game. I also dislike agility quirks since I would rather see them go away and get a true pilot skill tree instead.

And as long as quirks are affecting weapons and how they behave PGI has to spend much more time balancing around the quirks, making changes to quirks, and wasting more time on it rather then using their time to give us more game modes, maps, and tech to play with. My opinion anyways, feel free to yell, criticize, agree, or ignore me.

Just like the circle of life this is the circle of nerf. Just when a mech starts to stagger up from the beating it took in the last nerfing, excuse me "balance pass", PGI comes along and kicks it in the face again. Most vets who have been through all of these quirkenings know anything that is half decent or fun to pilot is going to get the hell kicked out of it in the next pass.
