so i made it to T3
honestly i was worried the game would become harder.

that I would have to think more critically about my builds.

but. 4 drops in and its......Easier???

Teams that know whats going on. people that push when I do. we talk and use COVER!

and everyone torso twists like crazy (so I get more damage in) !!!

Weird because I found T3 being far less communicative and far more confused, dazed, alone, scared, and probably drunk. T4 was far more communicative and laid back but people did their job. Then again, have a small sample size of the beginning of this event weekend. Are you playing NA, EU, or Oceanic? Wondering how the different server cultures are influencing the tiers.

Well congrats on tier 3, tier 2, is going to be tougher.

But for now grind the cbills and practice your positioning, favorite builds, and roles that you partake in your team.

Whether it's pug or group, you will definitely be able to do alright in tier 3.

I'll say I found my alt accts brief stint in tier 4 the most fun I actually had... most people were laid back, was an odd willingness to actually try out tactics and listen to ideas, and you didn't have meta tryhards getting butthurt in chat. Not the most competitive environment, unless one went out of the way to play mediocre mechs (like driving my stock SMN Prime for LORE! Sadly even that couldn't keep my acct in tier 4... sigh) but certainly a more fun and relaxing crowd, in general.

Awwww. That is adorable. There isnt a big enough player base to make tier based match making effective. Plus unless you are complete (insert internet insult here) tiers are more of an XP bar than anything else.

See this is why I don't show my tier. Almost every tier 1 I have seen on these forums has been banned for cheating or sound like they will be soon.

Any good player wouldn't disrespect a civil conversation like whats going on in this topic.

Grats to the guy that just got into tier 3 by the way.

Oh and if this guy being mean is legit, then I bet 10 to 1 he got to tier 1 in group queue. Playing fixed matches.

Hes saying the PSR is an experience bar. Which it isn't.

There are guys trying really hard to be abusive and to make players quit in game. What surprises me is they have the nerve to go public with it. Stick to your private team speak channels. Get your kicks from fixing matches instead.

Yeah its just that. Living on tier 3 you realize its just a little less mindless in exchange for a bit more douchy. Its something similar to the "grass being greener on the other (tier)" You still get the occasional Armchair General telling you what to do and that you suck because you're not doing exactly what their view of the battle should be.
