Looks like Marik Camo. Take your Pick as to the Black Red and Orange you use.

I dunno, I still think people are needlessly going apesh*t over the decals.

I think they released the system just a bit too soon, with a too few decals available and the decals way too bright, so people don't see the full potential yet.

Once they have a wide selection of bread-and-butter stuff (like numbers) available, I think we'll mostly see tastefully placed, unobtrusive and "lore-correct" stuff like numbers, unit emblems etc.

My favourite Phoenix Hawk is now sporting a badge and a very tiny Liao emblem Posted Image

The blending is a bit of an issue.

In an ideal world, the "surface texture" of the mech is a separate layer to the camo pattern/colour layers -- by surface texture I mean the grit and shading that stops every mech from looking like it's made of fresh plastic. If it *is* a separate layer blended over the rest, it might be as simple as putting the decal layer below this, so decals inherit the weathering and shading. My guess is that's not the case though, otherwise I suspect they'd already have done it.

I don't take much issue with the limited range of decals though -- it's a fairly basic incremental sales approach that lots of companies use and they'd probably do themselves a disservice by releasing a billion decals right out of the gate. I wouldn't be surprised if each month, for the next few months at least, there'll be a "new decals" section in the patch notes.

Looks more like a yellow, maybe Khaki? I have one of the yellow that is pale and often comes up looking goldish like that.

The special edition cicada/nova/wolverine/zeus/executioner with the hex camo that they gave as customer appreciation rewards last year seem to work that way depending which way you rotate the mech. At certain viewing angles the decal gets buried under the hex camo texture and becomes quite faded (too faded, in fact) yet is still visible.

sure, Big stompy military robots are serious business. No one ever put any thing silly on a weapon of war before....oh wait.

Funny thing, most of the photos of bomber art I found in my (rather casual search) were not admissible for the forms. Our grandfathers really liked the female form.
