I'm just wondering did you guys up there go mainly group queue or solo for your places and what places did you reach. Also what mech and builds.

I got 16th entirely solo queue with the Shadow Cat.

I used 2 LPL, first half of my matches with a LPL per arm, second half with both in the right side.

Not directly related, but I dropped for and against you earlier today. You do quite well in that Shadowcat.

Against you on Tourmaline. Irritating to have to dig you out of that hole you got yourself into.



Later, with you on Frozen. Didn't really see you in action but your score was quite respectable.

3rd Place on Stormcrow leaderboard.

Solo queue only. I used a 12x SMPLas build when games were brawly and a 3x LPLas build when games were pokey.

17 on Blackjack. Used all of the variants except the 1DC, 100% solo.

Also kept changing builds to keep it interesting. One of the best matches had me in an Arrow with a UAC/5+5xNG+3xMedLas, of all things. XL, even, double crit both STs for most of the working portion of the round. Kek.

Had a lot of derp games, too, especially last night. People just don't play in the patterns I am used to during events and I was slow to adapt.

I did take a brief stab at SHC, purely cERPPC. Got as high as 73 with just over 2,000 points on Sunday. Had one round featuring Sean Leng that I forced to a tie as Last Man Standing against a fresh Stalker that Leng was trying to coach. It's on his Twitchfrom his view, pretty funny to watch. Only sad that I was too beat up to be aggressive at that point. Also legged Soy and made him shut down and disco in protest, lol.

To get consistent high match score, you need to avoid group. Too much competition for damage.

Quick play. Preferably even at off hours. If you can land Euro players on the NA server, EVEN BETTER!

10 matches at around 500 match score gets you up there.

Interesting to see it from the perspective against me. You do very well with those LRMs, I was fine one moment and took a salvo from you and my CT's armor was all gone. Game went pretty sour for me, team fell apart pretty quickly to you guys, I took that position up early in the match providing fire support for the medium lance, they ended up dying so I just tried to hold up there for as long as possible and take as many people with me as I could. It was going well until you showed up, I had hoped ECM + Radar Dep would make me a little more well defended against LRMs.

Glad to have you working with me on my second match, I remember getting a considerable amount of spotting assists that round, a win for both of us.

My first 10 or so drops were in group queue, and the rest was solo queue only.

Can't score high in group queue, unless your group is large and deliberately gaming the system to inflate each other's scores.

Thanks. Yeah, from that angle, you're going to take most of the full LRM50 salvos into the chest. I knew you had Radar Dep, so there's no point chain-firing.. at that range and angle, no mech can get out of the way of a salvo fast enough, and even with the missiles going dumb after the Deprivation, it's likely that some damage would be done.

Your ECM got countered somehow, IIRC. I had BAP, but I don't think I'm in range.

The location you picked is great against direct fire, but anyone working LRMs below you just need a spotter, or take a bit of risk and self-spot further out. That cliff is ideal for LRM work, you can't shoot down easily on me, while I can easily lob over the edge at you. Tourmaline's full of spots like that, so I usually do decently on that map.

Wasn't just me -- there was another LRM Archer and possibly a third Archer with a mixed loadout. Lots of spotting assists and cash going around in that game.
