I'd prefer lance-on-lance arena combat, 1v1, and maybe even free-for-all with twelve mechs...
I know I'm going to get crucified for saying it but a 500,000 c-bill buy-in to an arena-style competition much like what was implemented in Call of Duty: Black Ops. A 6,000,000 c-bill pot for the last man standing competition would be nice. Even bigger competitions for lance-on-lance at maybe a 4,000,000-per-lance buy-in would be friggin' AWESOME! If you had 12-mech support, it could be a 12-mech 4v4v4 @ a 12,000,000 c-bill buy-in!
Your team wins, and you each take home 4,000,000.... That's AT LEAST as new ASSAULT MECH.

If I could be guaranteed that my ping/latency wasn't going to affect my chances, then maybe.. but until I've played the game a little from my neck of the woods, I can't say anything other than No at this point.

I'm absolutely in favour of the inclusion of the Solaris games... if they're done right.
MW4: Mercs was just about perfect. The arenas felt like arenas, small and artificial. And Duncan Fisher's running fight commentary was just absolute genius. Throw in some more game modes and more arenas (like Ishiyama) and we're onto a winner.

as stated by several others, I wouldn't mind seeing Solaris in the Game but only if it's done right and if they could ensure that you could prevent hacking or other things. they would also need to have several types of arenas, city/urban, woods, desert, kinda like what they did in MW 4: Mercenaries. I'd be in favor of 1v1 or 4v4 (lance) or even FFA. I'd also agree with the mech buy-in, putting x CBils to get into the FFA & the winner getting 75% & 2nd place getting 25%. (I'm sure I'll get talked to about this cause in reality it should be winner take all).
