So we lost 12-2. I was in a Commando with 2 kills.

It's not pub drops that concern us. It's league drops.

318? Sorry to bruise you ego but if that's meant to show lites are good, you are doing it quite wrong. I do on average 350-400 damage on my Locusts, and that is not enough to even tip the scale of a match. Lights are bad because they have no value on this game besides winning by caps on the one conquest match a week that is not played like skirmish.

No. It's every match in which a light pilot might want to participate in and not feel like a waste of tonnage that concerns us.

True, but the skill gap in pub games means results like the OP will always happen. If things are good for league drops, they'll be good for pub drops.

One game is really small sample size.

I think there is an inherit Bias against lights. Maybe it's because in lore, tonnage was king. Maybe it's because of the fallacy that bigger is better. But that just won't work for for a healthy QP environment. If heavies are just plain better then lights, who would pilot lights? Only those that don't know any better. This rings true when examining the queue numbers. Lights are almost always in the single digits, and recently I even saw them hit 0%. That was only for a single tick, admittedly, but keep nerfing lights and it might become the norm.

It's fine if you do, so long as you aren't afraid to admit that it's not the optimal option.

That's part of the fun. I've been playing MW too long to take the meta or ez option.

Please stop with your tier 5 propaganda. You're just getting back to the game and obviously skilled, so you'll move up the ranks in no time. But it's really a different world where you are right now, where LRMs and the MGs are viable options.

Look at 'Stone Wall's TEAM SCORE' AVG 150 DMG TEAM.
and he did 473 dmg. when hopeless team.

Wow someone knows how to read the final score. Appreciate it.

And in a Commando too.

Then quite frankly you shouldn't be posting in reference to balance, since you have no regard for it. Your thread should be renamed to "Lights are still viable screenshot inside" because that is more indicative of what you are trying to say, not that the lights are good (which generally implies viable inside the meta).

This is some Tier 1 level trolling.

Btw, notice the other Commando in the same match doing 151 dmg with 0 kills. On the winning team, no less.

Bravo, sir.

My point is PGI isn't going to aim for you.

Judging from how poorly the rest of your team did, I suspect the enemy was more focused on killing them instead of you. And why would they focus on you? You're only a Commando, after all.

They're certainly trying. If they listened to people that could already aim, there would have been many fewer nerfs to lights.

Dunno about the locust but i do love my TDK, i also love my Adder and wolfhound and both perform well.
Basically people have been able to enjoy under-scaled lights for a long time, suddenly they are scaled properly and perform how lights in BT should, but they do need their own niche outside of pure combat.

There's no "outside of combat" in this game.

That, and the fact that a number of lights are built specifically for combat, like the slow Clan ones.
