Hearthstone sells card packs, and has a system set up that if you haven't gotten anything good for long enough, you are guaranteed to get a Legendary card.

Supply Caches could use a similar system, where every cache contains a mechbay, and if you haven't won anything good within 10 keys, you are guaranteed to get a Much Bay on your 10th.

This would make supply caches sell like crazy, as the overall value would be greater than just buying mechbays.

Actually, if they put rare Pokemons in the Supply Cache they'll sell like hotcakes.

Honestly I have not see anything in any of the crates that I really want or desire enough to chance the MC.

I take a chance on them if the possibility let reward is big enough, like a mech+mechbay. And the possibility of getting that prize cannot be vanishingly small, or the community will stop buying them once empirical data is collected.

I got a nice cache last night. It has a Banshee, 3-day Premium Time, Hill climb module, Supply Cache Key, TAG, 2xuAC5, 2xMPL, Parking Permit Sign. Gonna use the free key from the event to open this one. As long as I don't end up getting the weapons I'm happy.

I just happened to get a cache with the exact same contents. Please let me know what you pulled; perhaps there are only a set number of cache types and we can start identifying them/narrowing down the odds per type of cache. There are too many random things to cram into a crate to make this a coincidence.

So, for 250 MC you want a mechbay +9x something else/chances to win something else. Yea, i think they'll do it. And this thing with Hearthstone..is it confirmed? Cause i think it's just a speculation/guess.

If they snuck Titan II ICBMs into the supply caches, I might be more inclined to give them a try.

If they put hot cakes in a supply cache they would sell like hot cakes also.

Which will likely force PGI to increase cache unlock prize to around 100 MC, cause what is the point of selling mechbays for 300 MC, if everyone gets a free mechbay by spending mere 250 MC + 9 other prizes?

You know what might help? Letting you turn supply crates into a "trade marker" with a key instead of gambling on a specific item. You're still spending 25MC per key (and getting a No Prize, too.)

You could then spend markers to improve the odds on a given unlock coming up. Say, each one ups your odds on a given item popping by 3%, reducing the odds on the worst item by the same amount, to a minimum of 1% (in which case, the next worst item starts getting reductions, and so on, and so forth. So when that really desirable item comes around, you can lay down some markers and have a much better chance for a "good drop", but it won't guarantee the best drop. And you sacrificed all the other potential prizes to do it by converting them to markers and spending MC.

300 MC would mean best item odds improve by 36% at the cost of 12 supply caches (at the least 600,000 Cbills and statistically likely far more). But you might not care if it was the 36% you needed to land that Highlander IIC, right?
