Grfx Drivers Question

hey guys i have to switch out my HD7970 to my GTX660ti as the fan died on the 7970. can i just take out the 7970 and put in the 660ti and then install teh geforce drivers? or is there some software i should use to wipe the AMD drivers out first?

Use the Control Panel to uninstall the drivers then use DDU, newest is version 16.1.0.0, to finish up the task.
