Nobody know but nobody care or cry also for PGI it's " balanced " they don't play the game how they should know something is wrong ... lol


Because apparently PGI mainly balances based on the level of whine something generates.

It is nothing new. I and others have made plenty of suggestions for improving lights and it usually doesn't get much attention. Doesn't matter if the idea makes sense balance wise, lore wise, common sense wise. And there is usually a lot of people against the ideas because of various reasons that are basically them wanting lights to be weak (sometimes they say its because of that, other times they try to make it seem like its something else).

I agree Dario,

Except for a few rare exceptions, most paying and non paying players want nothing more then for lights to be "cannon fodder". Some are upfront with admitting this thinking and admit they don't (and possibly won't pilot lights). Others are not.

The fact remains, lights can be reasonably more viable. Lights understandably cant win trades and go face to face against a heavier enemy and no reasonable person is asking them to do so, but with these reasonable ideas and other ideas, they can be more viable overall. These reasonable suggestions will just be pushed to the side because most people just want to get into the "biggest baddest mech and lay waste to everything". PGI will listen to them because they are the majority. This thinking is ruining the balance and the variety of MechWarrior Online.

I pilot all weight classes and do the best in the "heavy weight class". I like the variety of playing the different weight classes. Even with doing the best in the heavy weight class, I know lights are overall in a bad way right now after re-sizing and constant unreasonable nerfs. Keep the re-sizing but take back the nerfs. At least look at and add some of these reasonable ideas.

There is a reason why lights are the least played weight class in the tier 1 que. Ideas like these are realistic and reasonable but will just get pushed aside and brushed under the rug because of the weekend warrior and the majority. Shame indeed.

Yea exactly... symptomatic from a total lack of vision.
Lots of PGI decisions are really strange and look like totally random.

Like leaderboards seasons, why reset numbers? And why all months ? There is rewards ?
Or just they did copy another game without know the true purpose of this reset?

Why all months not all year or all weeks or all 3 months ... Well totally PGI >>>>
