Yes, I opened 3 cache with exact same items. (2:15 in video)
The result was different though, the first 2 cache gave me cache keys, third one gave a Clan Gauss.

At 2:30 I again opened 2 identical cache.
This time both gave me a LRM10.

here is the thing you are not getting. with the MC you have access to a lot of other things you don't have with CBills and honestly I couldn't care less about which is the better way to go as its all preference. what I am saying however is that either way you look at it you get decent value for your dollars and in my case I get the MC which I use as I have not been a poor student in 25 years.

Bro, chill. I never said you bought the MC for those crates. I bought some MC too during this sale and got 5 crates and a 'mechbay. I bought it because I needed a little refill on my MC and it seemed like the time to do it since they were giving away free stuff, especially the 'mechbay. The point to my post was that you, by opening that many of them and getting nothing but garbage, has confirmed to me that these crates are a scam. I also got nothing but garbage out of the total 7 that I have opened. And I disagree with your assessment that spending a few MC on keys to open crates is worth it unless you got the key for free. I don't view an exchange of MC for what almost always seems to amount to a fistful of CBills that could be easily earned by playing one more match as a good deal. Plain and simple. And I feel like the more desirable items are just there as bait to scam people into buying keys for a prize they are never going to achieve.

Wish I got a seismic module, seeing as I'm currently on a quest to raise enough money to permanently module every one of my 'mechs. I always run Radar Deprivation and Advanced Seismic Sensor on every 'mech. If it happens to be a 'mech with a third 'mech module slot, I usually go with Target Info Gathering.

I just opened my event crate because I got one that I decided had something I wanted in it in every slot except for the SRM 2. Opened it fully expecting to get SRM 2. Got SRM 2. Sold SRM 2s for 20,000 CBills. Would have made more money just selling the cache.

Instead of mechs in the loot box, it simply needs to be the weight class. Let players choose the mech. How silly is it to get that jackpot mech and you already have it?

Also, let us recycle MC cockpit items back into MC at a reduced rate.

25,000MC will get you 82 mechbays, this is true and a point to consider. That's gonna take well over over a year to fill (assuming you master each 3). IMO longer if doing the usual grind (and not buying anything for MC directly). Probably 2 years, I'm at 44 and I've been going 9 months

Most cockpit items and so on you can win in larger challenges anyway. That don't affect game play so they are a luxury.

Each to their own, I get why you did it - it doesn't mean supply keys are worth it either way. This is just a quick scheme to hit a revenue target.

If it can be bought for C-bills, I won't use MC on it.
If you like playing this game enough, C-bills are usually much less of a problem. Better to just use free premium days, stock up.

I already have more mechs than I know what to do with due to mechpacks.

Found it odd that I had two boxes rewarded both with exact same items in the exact same places in the box and when opened got exact same things.

Just trying to add some 'data' to the discussion.

For the record, don't really care for the boxes all that much. PGI missed a great opportunity here to add some lore/immersion with the boxes. I will NEVER pay $$ for a key but will gladly open them up when I have free MC from events.

You had been very unlucky to get only 25 value from 38 supply caches.

Until now I have opended more than a dozen, but less than you, and just got a Vindicator VND-1AA including a mechbay which is worth 300

For 300 I could buy 12 supply keys, so in my opinion the supply keys are TOO EXPENSIVE !

PS: I only kept the mechbay and sold the Vindicator, as I already have the CHAMPION from the MASTERY PACK !
