I strongly suspect the sort function is broken or not implemented after the MM pulls in a valid player combination.
(On Edit) I see I forgot to remove damage numbers. Oh well, the timer is running. How soon until moderation? Another experiment I suppose.

Yea and after read that you did talk only about waiting time .. so irrevelant.
Since critical thinking and reading comprehension ironically seem to be weaknesses for you, let me bust out the crayons:

Obviously, my reply was in reference to the OP implying that because he, in T3, has low wait times that matchmaking is just throwing him and anyone else into any available match regardless of tier.

It seem you didnt get what was the real question of OP thread... are tiers totally mix ...
Everybody know that TIER 3 guys have less waiting time coze there is lots of tier 3 people and they have access to tier 5 or tier1 matchs...
But whatever how i have to name you ? Captain obvious or grammar troll? ... pathetic

At this point I am not sure if you are being willfully ignorant or truly don't get it.

>>MW:O, Dropped.
removing QP from the game would definetly make me quit the game and I think it wouldn't be far fetched to say that at least 50% of whatever is left of community would drop the game as well.
Me personally - I nearly never play it. First you have to wait for 10-20 min for a drop. Then you need fully decked out set of mechs (which I don't have yet, that also includes modules.. which are waaay to expensive), that wlll most probably have to include a light mech (which I only own - 1. Literally I only have one light mech.. because I don't like them at all) which I nearly never play. And no matter how well I perform dropping solo usually means theres a stomping coming your way and it usually is. So wheres the fun factor of faction play because after playing MWO:O for 3/4 of a year I still haven't found it.
So Let me fix your post for you :
Ya know, If QP was made to be worth a damn, and they added missions/daily events and rankings, PGI could get rid of the FP placeholder and never have to worry about 10-30 min waiting time to drop, stupid maps that always have bottlenecks, or pre-mades being put against pugs, ever again.
...just sayin'
Quick Play is/was considered a placeholder by PGI when they launched the game.
The issues that you have with FP would have to be addressed to meet the definition of "make it worth a damn".
For faster matches, you would have Solaris mode (no R&R, good C-bill rewards, etc)
I'm not sure how long you have been playing, but arena map team deathmatch starts to get very boring after a while.

MM working as intended
So they say, but i have seen proof in 3 games (2 i was in) where tier 4's made it into matches w. T1's...
Taking from the Patch notes....
PSR and Skill Tiers
With the new PSR system in place we are now able to put players into Skill Tiers.
There are 5 Skill Tiers in which a pilot can be ranked: Tier 1 being comprised of the best-rated players in the game, and Tier 5 being comprised of pilots who are in dire need of additional training. That being said, we now have much more control over who plays against whom, without the presence of the ‘release valves’ that were in place under the original system.
The original Elo system for MWO employed these release valves to allow the matchmaker to relax restrictions in an effort to start games faster. This could result in top-tier players being matched with newer or lower-skilled players. With the release of PSR, that system is now gone.
A Tier 1 player will never play against a Tier 4 or Tier 5 player
They claim it doesnt work this way but we have some evidence that has come to light which is singing a different tune.

Sadly if you read the round table thread the faction players are still stuck on faction play will solve everything. Just read through. absolutely no one makes the slightest effort to understand how to attract and retain new/casual players which are in fact the base they need to grow. They think they are the monkeys at the top of the tree looking down on smiling faces when in reality everyone looks up and just see's arses.
Attracting new players is great.
Keeping existing players is just as important.
That is why there should be a ranked Solaris mode for quick matches and easy money.
