One of the current limitations of Faction Play: population is low and games are not readily available outside of events. Something to consider:

Allow for a Quick Play option for FP. PGI has stated that FP is "hardcore mode." We don't want newbies to accidentally get into FP. Only unlock QP once a Mechwarrior acheives certain criteria:

1) Some type of ranking. This could be # of games played, or be based on the tier system. eg.- You must achieve tier 2/3 or higher to activate the QP button for FP.

2) Have set up a FP drop deck and saved it.

If I have the FP box selected under Quick Play, then I could be placed into a FP match or a regular 12v12 match, depending on the match maker.

This allows for people to get into a FP game more easily and quickly due to increased population, while still allowing players to use the planet selector or call to arms if they prefer.
